What makes Root Deep Urban Farm a Unique CSA:
Root Deep Urban Farm is truly an urban farm, with an experienced farmer at the helm. Sherri has been farming for 15 years, and is in the fourth year of her CSA. She is dedicated to sustainable growing practices on her farm, and has a strong philosophy toward enriching the soil with compost, cover crops, and manures. Sherri also uses native plants to increase the diversity of life on her farm and to attract beneficial insects, birds, and the like to her little corner of Eden in Old Kansas City.
CSA members are not required to work at the farm, but Sherri does hold open volunteer days — please contact her for details.
