Share Structure:

WHAT WE’RE GROWING IN 2010: We grow the traditional Midwestern vegetables, with some forays into heirlooms and exotics based our interests, CSA member feedback, and the changeable Kansas weather.

WHAT CAN SHAREHOLDERS EXPECT ALONG WITH THEIR FOOD? All of our communication is by e-mail. We send out a weekly e-mail to members with “what’s in the bag,” recipes, farm updates, etc.

Length of season: 21 weeks, from May 6 to September 29.
GENERAL FARM INFO & FEATURES: KCCUA’s 9-year-old CSA program is certified organic. Although shareholders are not required to work at the farm, volunteers are welcome (contact the farmers to schedule a visit). KCCUA offers a number of events throughout the year.
