HERB’N GARDENER IS NOW OFFERING
A BREAD CSA!
Urban farmer Lew Edmister has built his own wood-fired earthen oven for the purpose of creating wholesome, homemade bread with a crust and crumb like no other!
He’ll be selling shares starting in October, at $50 or $100 per share. Bread CSA members will receive loaves of bread at a $5 value, which is a discount from the $6 – $7 /loaf that Lew will be charging at market.
The $100 subscribers will be able to maintain their subscription status for as long as they like, which assures a continual supply of whatever bread comes out of the oven, for as long as Lew is cranking it out.
Lew will be experimenting with new products later on, as he gets more efficient at using the oven and gauges the interests and desires of his CSA members and market customers — CSA members will get to sample all the goods!
